Stop Carrying Your Non-Profit Alone Before Revenue Volatility, Board Apathy, And Burnout Put The Mission At Risk
The Non-Profit Power Playbook: Capital Gains and Culture Chaine is a 3- or 6-month high-touch strategic advisory engagement that helps non-profit CEOs and Executive Directors build predictable revenue, an activated board, and a self-sustaining team - so you can stop carrying the organization on your shoulders and lead with greater stability, impact, and peace of mind.
You Became The Leader - But Somehow Every Problem Still Ends Up On Your Desk
Your board is well-meaning, but too many members are still passive observers instead of active partners.
Revenue feels vulnerable because too much depends on a few grants, the annual gala, or the same donors you keep going back to.
Your team needs direction, accountability, and support, but you are already stretched between strategy, staff issues, fundraising, board dynamics, and the next operational fire.
So instead of leading the organization forward, you become the person holding everything together. And when you are the person everyone turns to, there is rarely anyone you can turn to.
Does it feel like you are constantly asking yourself:
What happens if we lose a major grant?
Why am I still carrying so much of the fundraising burden?
How do I get the board to actually step up?
How long can my team - or I - keep working like this?
The mission may be growing.
But if the organization only works because you keep absorbing the pressure, one lost grant, key resignation, or board crisis can put revenue, your leadership, and the mission itself at risk.
Solve The Problems Before They Cost Your Non-Profit Money, People, And Impact
The Non-Profit Power Playbook helps you move from exhausted chief problem-solver to strategic CEO - leading an organization with stronger revenue, an accountable team, and a board that actively helps drive the mission forward.
This is not another consultant handing you recommendations and disappearing.
It is a high-touch strategic engagement that combines executive advisory, practical implementation support, leadership and board development, and real-time strategic access.
Together, we work on the areas that have the greatest impact on sustainable growth.
Build a stronger, more diversified revenue engine instead of constantly chasing low-margin grants and one-off events.
Turn a passive board into active champions who advocate, fundraise, make introductions, and help open important doors.
Create stronger leadership accountability so your team can execute without every decision coming back to you.
Reduce operational friction and executive overload so you can spend more time leading strategically.
Build systems that outlast the engagement instead of creating another layer of consultant dependency.
Step back into strategic leadership so you can focus on the vision, impact, and legacy of the organization instead of spending every day reacting to problems.
Think of it as Mission Control for your organization - helping you identify what is putting revenue, leadership, governance, and impact at risk before those problems become crises.

Get Out Of Reactive Mode And Start Fixing What Is Actually Holding The Organization Back
The engagement is designed around the real problems sitting on your desk - not generic theory.
And because the core executive sessions are focused 60-minute meetings every two weeks, you do not need to add another heavy program to an already overloaded schedule.
Bi-Weekly Executive Advisory
Meet for focused 60-minute working sessions to troubleshoot immediate blockers, align priorities, and move high-value revenue and leadership decisions forward.
Your Strategic Development Blueprint
Assess your fundraising capacity, board governance, and leadership alignment, then turn the findings into a customized 12-month roadmap.
Monthly Board And Leadership Workshops
Bring the wider leadership team into the work so new expectations, systems, and accountability do not remain dependent on the CEO.
Practical Executive Tools
Use ready-to-apply frameworks for board recruitment and onboarding, major donor prospecting, executive evaluation, and strategic meetings.
Strategic Access When You Need It Most
Get support between scheduled sessions for high-stakes moments such as urgent board preparation, crisis management, or major donor meeting debriefs.
The Three Areas That Have To Work If Your Non-Profit Is Going To Scale
01
PILLAR 1: Stop Chasing Revenue And Build A Stronger Fundraising Engine.
Strengthen your donor pipeline, major-gift strategy, and revenue diversification so the organization is less vulnerable to a single grant, event, or funding source.
02
PILLAR 2: Build A Team That Can Perform Without Constant CEO Intervention.
Improve leadership alignment, accountability, talent retention, and culture so you are no longer forced to micromanage day-to-day execution.
03
PILLAR 3: Turn Your Board Into A Growth Asset.
Move board members from passive oversight to active advocacy, fundraising, strategic introductions, and meaningful ownership of the mission.

This Is For Leaders Who Know The Mission Is Strong - But The Current Model Is Not Sustainable
This Is For You If:
You are an Executive Director, CEO, President, Founder, or Board Chair.
You lead a growth-stage or restructuring non-profit, foundation, purpose-driven enterprise, or social impact organization.
Your organization typically operates with an annual budget of approximately $1M-$15M.
Growth has plateaued, leadership is changing, or governance needs to mature.
Your board is not contributing at the level the organization now requires.
Too much revenue depends on too few sources.
Your team needs stronger alignment, accountability, or leadership.
You want experienced peer-level strategic support, not another set of generic recommendations.
You are ready to build sustainable infrastructure rather than keep applying short-term fixes.
This Is NOT For You If:
You are leading an early-stage or micro non-profit with an annual budget under approximately $1M.
You are looking for information to collect rather than changes to implement.
You want someone else to solve everything while you remain completely hands-off.
You are unwilling to invest in stronger infrastructure, leadership, or organizational capacity.
You or your team are committed to maintaining the status quo.
The Cost Of Waiting Keeps Growing
The longer these problems stay unresolved, the more pressure they put on your revenue, your team, and your ability to lead.
A lost grant or major donor can create a financial cliff when revenue is too concentrated.
Board disengagement compounds when expectations and accountability remain unclear.
Strong employees burn out when operational pressure keeps falling on the same people.
Executive overload increases when every gap in the organization continues coming back to you.
The mission takes the hit when instability starts affecting the people and communities you serve.
You do not have to wait for a funding loss, resignation, or leadership crisis to force change. Solve the structural problems while you still have the space to address them strategically.

Why Previous Fixes Haven’t Solved The Real Problem
If you have already tried to strengthen fundraising, leadership, or your board without seeing lasting change, the issue may be that each solution tackled only one piece of the problem.
Brought in a management consultant - but the recommendations never translated into lasting change.
Attended a fundraising workshop - but the ideas were difficult to implement once daily pressures returned.
Hired a new Development Director - expecting one person to solve a wider revenue problem.
Recruited big-name board members - only to find that impressive credentials do not guarantee active engagement.
From Advisory → Embedded
From Theory → Accountability
From Dependency → Capability
Fundraising, governance, leadership, and culture are interconnected. The Non-Profit Power Playbook brings them together through embedded support, accountability, and stronger internal capability - so the changes actually stick.
You Should Start Feeling More In Control Before The Entire Organization Is Rebuilt
The work is structured to create early clarity while building toward longer-term financial and organizational stability.
DAYS 1-30: Identify The Problems Costing You The Most Right Now.
Audit the organization, clarify the most urgent bottlenecks, identify overlooked donor opportunities, and establish priorities that begin reducing the operational burden on the CEO.
DAYS 30-90: Turn Strategy Into Organizational Movement.
Begin activating the board, implementing the Strategic Blueprint, strengthening major-gift strategy, and improving leadership alignment and accountability.
MONTHS 3-6: Build For Sustainable Revenue And Long-Term Stability.
Focus on closing major gifts, embedding stronger governance systems, generating board-driven revenue, and creating a leadership model that can keep performing beyond the core engagement.
The goal is not to make your organization dependent on outside advice.
It is to build the internal capability, leadership, and systems required to keep moving forward without it.
The Beliefs That Keep Good Non-Profits Working Harder Without Getting Stronger
Myth #1: “If We Do Good Work, The Money Will Follow.”
Truth: Impact alone does not create predictable revenue. Major donors and institutional funders also need clarity, strategy, and confidence in the leadership behind the mission.
Myth #2: “The Board’s Primary Job Is Governance And Oversight.”
Truth: When the board operates only as a compliance body, valuable relationships, advocacy, fundraising potential, and strategic influence remain unused.
Myth #3: “Low Overhead Means The Organization Is Healthy.”
Truth: Underinvesting in infrastructure, executive talent, and modern systems can restrict growth and increase the pressure on already-overextended employees.
Myth #4: “Fundraising Is The Development Director’s Job.”
Truth: A Development Director can build the process, but transformational donor relationships often require direct engagement from the CEO and board.
Myth #5: “We Just Need To Work Harder.”
Truth: Seventy-hour workweeks are not a scalable operating model. Sustainable growth requires stronger systems, distributed responsibility, and clearer accountability.
You do not need another heroic push.
You need an organization that does not require heroics to function.

Today, my mission is to help non-profit leaders build the revenue, governance, leadership, and infrastructure required to create lasting public good without sacrificing themselves in the process.
I solve problems before they cost non-profits money.

Your Mission Needs More Than A CEO Who Can Keep Taking The Pressure
OPTION 1: Keep Carrying The Pressure.
Keep chasing funding, pushing the board, and stepping into problems your organization should be able to handle without you.
OPTION 2: Build A Stronger Organization.
Build predictable revenue, an activated board, and a team that can perform without constant CEO intervention - so you can lead the mission instead of carrying it.
Start with a focused conversation about what is putting the most pressure on your organization right now.
